We did not need another dashboard.
We needed one place where a shipment keeps its context from the first enquiry to final documents and settlement. Instead of adding more spreadsheets, checklists and manual reminders, we started building our own workflow. That workflow gradually became COUPV.
The information was everywhere
The order arrived by email, the rate lived in a conversation, status had to be checked separately and documents returned through another channel. Every tool worked on its own, but the operation had no single reference point.
The order became the full shipment context
In COUPV a shipment is not only pickup and delivery data. Carrier, vehicle, driver, conditions, documents, status history, route and financial context remain connected to the same order.
Dispatch started with one question: what needs attention now?
A list of orders is not enough when many shipments run in parallel. DISPATCH was designed as an operational view of time, stage and exceptions, shortening the path from noticing a problem to taking action.
A document should not disappear into an inbox
CMR, POD and other files belong to the shipment and often determine whether the next settlement step can happen. The system should know which documents are still missing and keep them in the transport context.
Automation should remove repetition, not responsibility
The goal is not to hide operations behind automation. COUPV can take over repetitive reminders and checks while the team still sees the decision, the owner and the current state of the shipment.
Real operations still shape the product
Building next to a working forwarding operation makes validation fast. A feature that looks good in a mock-up but adds unnecessary steps during a real shipment does not solve the problem. COUPV is developed where the process actually hurts.
COUPV is the result of operational work, not an attempt to reinvent transport on a whiteboard.
COUPV / TMS
Today COUPV is a separate TMS platform.
CHMA remains a freight forwarding company and uses COUPV in daily operations. The product itself is developed as a platform for forwarders and transport companies with its own modules and access layers.
